Hiring scorecard
A hiring scorecard is a structured form listing the competencies a role requires and a rating scale for each, completed by every interviewer. It converts impressions into comparable ratings so a debrief can be about evidence rather than recollection.
Scorecards only work if the scale is anchored — that is, if everyone agrees what a 3 means versus a 4. Without that calibration, ratings drift by interviewer and the numbers become false precision.
The most valuable field is usually the free-text evidence box, not the rating. A 4 with no supporting evidence tells you nothing; a 3 with a specific quote tells you a great deal.
