Panel interview

A panel interview has several interviewers meeting a candidate at once. It is efficient in scheduling terms and lets interviewers observe the same answers, but can be intimidating and often produces less depth than sequential conversations.

Panels work best with defined roles — one person leading, others focused on specific competencies — and worst when three people improvise questions in parallel.
