A talent pipeline is a pool of candidates you have relationships with who are not currently in an active process. Building one shortens time to hire for predictable roles, because you begin with warm candidates rather than from scratch.
Pipelines require ongoing effort to stay warm and go stale quickly. They are most worthwhile for roles you hire repeatedly.
