Time to hire
Time to hire measures the days between a candidate entering your process and accepting an offer. It reflects how quickly your process moves once someone is in it, and is distinct from time to fill, which starts when the role opens.
Aggregate time to hire across all roles is close to useless for diagnosis. Two roles with identical averages can have entirely different problems — one slow at screening, another slow between final interview and offer.
The actionable version is time in each stage, per role. That is what tells you where to intervene.
