Offer acceptance rate

Offer acceptance rate is the percentage of offers made that candidates accept. A rate persistently below about 85% usually indicates a problem in compensation benchmarking, candidate experience, or how well expectations were managed during the process.

Declines late in a process are expensive, because the cost of every earlier stage is already sunk. Tracking the stated reason for each decline is more useful than the headline rate.
