Candidate experience
Candidate experience is how it feels to go through your hiring process — clarity of communication, speed of response, quality of interviews, and how rejection is handled. It affects offer acceptance, employer reputation, and whether rejected candidates ever apply again.
The most common complaints are consistent across surveys: no response at all, long unexplained silences, and being asked the same questions repeatedly by different interviewers.
The last is entirely fixable and signals disorganisation to precisely the candidates who have other options.
