Rating anchors
Rating anchors are written descriptions of what each point on a scoring scale looks like in practice — what a 2 versus a 4 actually means for a given competency. Without anchors, numeric ratings are not comparable between interviewers.
Anchors are what turn a scorecard from a feelings-collection exercise into a measurement. They take an hour to write per role and are reusable.
